Jeff Casteel, unit 4412, is the Mt. Vernon Board Driver of the Year for 2002. Jeff began his truck-driving career with WVT in May 1998. Jeff recently purchased a home in El Dorado, IL. He hopes to get all the yard work done this summer and possibly put in a hot tub. Jeff has 2 sons, Michael, age 25, and Mathew, age 22. Jeff appreciates knowing that the employment with WVT is always steady. Jeff's handle on the CB is Slowpoke, say hello next time you see him. Don Marsh, unit 4856, is the Midwest Board Driver of the Year for 2002. Don has been employed with WVT since March of 1997. Don and his wife of 21 years, Cindy, reside in Philadelphia, TN. They have 3 sons, Matthew, age 18, Andrew, age 14, and Jonathon, age 5. Cindy owns and operates a new construction cleaning business. In his spare time, Don likes to hunt and play guitar. Cindy says his favorite pastime is to tell everyone what to do. Guess that is why Don has been a WVT trainer for the last several years. Don's CB handle is Lost and Found. If you see Don, ask him why he has that handle.
Russ Miller, unit 4464, is the Sperry Board Driver of the Year for 2002. Russ and his wife of 12 years, Tracy, reside on a small farm in Russell Springs, KY. Russ has 3 children, Kara Beth, age 16, Shavone, age 18, and Brandon, age 19. Russ has been employed with WVT since July 1998 and uses the CB handle of G-Man. Tracy teaches school. In his spare time, Russ enjoys golfing, hiking, hunting and fishing.
Darryl Zachmire, unit 9111, is the Metals Division Driver of the Year for 2002.
Darryl, better know with the handle War Eagle, has been with the Schilli companies since August of 1987. He and his wife Juanita ahve been married 6 years and reside in Lafayette, IN.
Together, they enjoy camping and flea markets. Darryl is also a ham radio operator.
He has 5 step children and 5 granddaughters. Juanita has been employed by Cintas Uniforms for the past 13 years.
